ProbiAI is a car insurance cost estimator helping UK drivers understand what they might pay before comparing real quotes. Operated by Northstar Sterling Limited.

2. What data we collect
We collect only what is needed:
- Answers to the 5 estimate questions: age, postcode prefix (first 2 letters only), no-claims bonus years, vehicle details, and annual mileage
- First name, email, and WhatsApp number only if you choose to provide them when booking a session
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, timestamp
We do not collect full postcodes, names linked to estimates, financial information, or data about children.
3. How we use your data
- To calculate and display your estimate
- To contact you if you book a concierge session
- We never sell your data to third parties
- We never pass your data to insurers without your explicit consent
4. Cookies
We use a single session cookie for the estimate journey only. No advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Third party links
We link to Confused.com, Compare the Market, GoCompare, and MoneySuperMarket. We may receive a small affiliate commission if you purchase through these links. This does not affect the price you pay. Each site has its own privacy policy.
6. Data retention
Estimate data is held for 90 days then deleted. Session booking data is held until you request deletion or your session is complete.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data we hold. Email avinash.mehrotra@northstarsterling.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent version.
